Backup Plans for AEW All In 2025 If Ticket Sales Fall Short – AEW is setting its sights high with All In: Texas, scheduled for July 12, 2025, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. While AEW has faced declining ticket sales over the past year, early indicators for this event are promising. With tickets on sale for nearly three weeks, the company has already broken its North American gate record, demonstrating significant fan interest. However, the challenges of filling a stadium-sized venue remain, and questions about a potential venue change have surfaced.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer weighed in on the situation, noting the logistical complexities of moving the event if ticket sales fall short. “I don’t think that they will try to move it indoors; they may. I mean, it’ll become difficult,” Meltzer remarked. He highlighted that the City of Arlington and its mayor played a significant role in securing the event, making a move to a Dallas venue, for instance, more complicated. Additionally, any shift would involve refunding and reselling tickets, a scenario WWE dealt with for Money in the Bank in 2022 when it downsized from Allegiant Stadium to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
AEW has already faced similar circumstances this year, downsizing Grand Slam Australia on February 15, 2025. However, Meltzer remains optimistic about the potential success of All In: Texas. “If they hit 20,000 in the stadium, I would consider that a big success for them if you look at the history of wrestling. A lot of people will try and make it a failure, 20 is a success, 15 not as much,” Meltzer said.
With seven months left to sell tickets, AEW has ample time to build momentum and ensure the event meets expectations. All In: Texas could be a landmark moment for the company, reinforcing its ability to draw large crowds despite industry challenges.
