The 2025 Royal Rumble will have an earlier start time, continuing WWE’s recent trend of starting Premium Live Events earlier. Following the change for Survivor Series: War Games, which began at 6:30 PM EST instead of the usual 8:00 PM EST, WWE has confirmed that the Royal Rumble will also start at 6:00 PM EST.
This early start time will apply to the U.S. broadcast, which will stream live on Peacock beginning at 6:00 PM ET/3:00 PM PT. Additionally, WWE revealed that the final SmackDown before the event will air from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN, further building anticipation for the Royal Rumble and its lead-up.
This shift to an earlier start time aligns with WWE’s push for a more accessible and earlier experience for fans, particularly those tuning in from different time zones.
