You are right on one thing. Saturday Night’s Main Event is going to be nothing like Survivor Series. You retained the title because of him. Saturday, you lose the title because of him. After eight long years, Finn Balor walks out of Saturday Night’s Main Event, Finn Balor walks out as World Champion.
Gunther says Finn did not earn that title match. Your audacity of claiming any responsibility for Gunther being the World Champion earned him that match. Eight years ago, you became the first Universal Champion. At that point in his career, he looked up to Finn and respected him. That respect faded away, not because he chose to. You chose to cut corners and take short cuts. You chose to align your self with the Judgment Day and hang out with a bunch of weirdos in a clubhouse. You chose to play second fiddle to Damian Priest.
We have no respect left for each other. Gunther says he is looking down at Finn. Eight years ago, you were the best in the world. For one night.
