WWE Network Ends in Europe on January 1, 2025 – After a decade of operation, the WWE Network is officially set to shut down at the start of 2025. This significant change comes as part of WWE’s new partnership with Netflix, which will become the exclusive home for Monday Night RAW and other WWE content in several major markets.
The transition to Netflix begins in January 2025, coinciding with RAW’s move from the USA Network to the streaming platform. This deal extends far beyond RAW, as Netflix will also host all WWE programming outside the U.S., including SmackDown, NXT, and premium live events (PLEs). In international markets where WWE Network has been a primary content hub, Netflix will now take over, effectively replacing the Network’s role.
In an email sent to WWE Network subscribers, the company confirmed the service would cease operations on January 1, 2025. The message expressed gratitude to fans for their support over the years and outlined the upcoming transition to Netflix, ensuring that viewers can continue enjoying WWE’s extensive library and live events on the new platform.
“On January 1, 2025, WWE Network will no longer be available in your area. After January 1, Netflix will be the new exclusive home of WWE.
Netflix will bring WWE’s electrifying content all to one place, including weekly shows, Monday Night RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, PLUS Premium Live Events (PLEs) such as WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam.
Many of WWE’s top moments, along with historic PLEs and select programming, will be available on Netflix beginning January 1.
The premiere live episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix airing on January 6 will feature some of the biggest names in WEWE such as John Cena, Undisputed WWE Champion The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Bianca Belair, in addition to many other Superstars and guests including Travis Scott.
If you are already a Netflix subscriber, you’re all set. If you are not a Netflix subscriber, you will need to subscribe so you don’t miss a moment. We can’t wait for you to experience WWE on Netflix this January.
Sincerely, WWE Network Support.”
This move aligns with WWE’s broader strategy to leverage Netflix’s global reach and streaming dominance. By consolidating its content under one platform, WWE aims to streamline access for fans while increasing its visibility to Netflix’s massive subscriber base. Although the WWE Network’s closure marks the end of an era, this shift signifies a bold step into the future for WWE’s digital presence.
