Update on The Blade Following Back Fusion Surgery

Update on The Blade Following Back Fusion Surgery – AEW’s The Blade has been out of action since February 4 due to a back injury, and he revealed in September that he underwent back fusion surgery as part of his recovery. Since then, he has been focusing on his rehabilitation.

In a recent virtual signing with RDP Promotions, Allie (The Bunny) provided a brief update on The Blade’s condition. She shared that he is “hanging in” and has recently started physical therapy. Allie emphasized that his surgery went very well and expressed her pride in his progress. During this recovery period, The Blade has also been keeping himself occupied with stand-up comedy, further highlighting his commitment to maintaining a positive and active mindset while focusing on regaining his health.

As of now, there is no official word on when The Blade will return to the ring. Prior to his injury, he and his tag team partner, The Butcher, were regularly featured on AEW and ROH programming. Fans are eagerly awaiting his return, but for now, his main focus remains on his recovery and overall well-being.
