Update on NXT Deadline’s Iron Survivor Challenges – The lineup for the 2024 NXT Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline continues to take shape with the addition of two new qualifiers from the November 26 edition of WWE NXT.
In the men’s division, Ethan Page became the fourth competitor to secure his spot in the Iron Survivor Challenge by defeating Axiom. Despite the presence of the entire NXT tag team division rooting for his downfall, Page overcame the odds and pinned Axiom after delivering a powerful lariat. Following the match, Page joined Nathan Frazer, Wes Lee, and Je’Von Evans in the ring for a confrontation, which escalated when tag teams stormed out, targeting Axiom in the aftermath.
On the women’s side, Giulia earned her spot in the Iron Survivor Challenge by defeating Kelani Jordan in a decisive victory. Giulia sealed the match with her signature Northern Lights Bomb, becoming the fourth woman to qualify for the prestigious contest. She now joins Stephanie Vaquer, ZARIA, and Sol Ruca in the battle.
The Iron Survivor Challenge was first introduced at NXT Deadline 2022 and quickly became a standout feature of the event. The unique rules include:
- Five participants competing over a 25-minute time limit.
- The match begins with two competitors, with an additional participant entering every five minutes.
- Points are scored through pinfall, submission, or disqualification, and the competitor with the most points at the end is declared the winner.
- The victors of the men’s and women’s matches will earn the right to challenge for the NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship, respectively.
The final participants for both divisions will be determined in last-chance qualifying matches set for the December 3 episode of NXT. With such high stakes and a dynamic roster of competitors, the 2024 Iron Survivor Challenge is poised to deliver excitement and drama at NXT Deadline.
