The Rock Has Yet to Commit to WrestleMania 41 Main Event – Speculation about The Rock potentially wrestling at WrestleMania 41 has intensified, especially after his surprise appearance following the Bad Blood main event. This unexpected moment, in which he joined Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns after their win against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, fueled hopes that he might face Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at next year’s WrestleMania. However, reports emerged suggesting he wasn’t available for WrestleMania 41, sparking responses from fans—and even The Rock himself.
In an Instagram comment, The Rock dismissed the circulating rumors, telling fans, “Don’t believe any of that bull****.” WrestleVotes later confirmed that while plans remain fluid, WWE still views Rock as a top priority for WrestleMania. According to Fightful, he is expected to make appearances in some capacity, though these may be sporadic. Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that nothing is set in stone. Sources close to WWE creative noted that while Rock’s participation remains entirely his decision, two insiders claim no formal plan for a WrestleMania main event has been established yet.
“We’re told again that he’s not committed at this point. Obviously if he wants to and feels he can do so, he’ll be doing it. It’s totally up to him. But in checking with two people who would both almost have to know about the Mania main event, one said that there is nothing set and the other said Johnson is not scheduled.”
For now, The Rock is focused on upcoming film projects, including Red One and Moana 2, but fans remain hopeful he’ll make a WrestleMania return. The prospect of The Rock and Cody Rhodes facing off at WWE’s biggest event continues to drive high anticipation, with many waiting to see if the “Great One” will make this match a reality.
