Jade Cargill Sidelined with Legitimate Injury – Jade Cargill is officially sidelined due to an injury that has taken her out of WWE’s immediate plans, including the highly anticipated Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.
According to Dave Meltzer’s Sunday Daily Update, the injury is legitimate, though the full extent remains unclear. WWE reportedly expects Cargill to be out for a minimum of three months, with the possibility of a longer recovery. To address her absence, WWE staged an angle on last Friday’s SmackDown, where Cargill was found unconscious backstage, appearing to have been thrown into a car windshield.
“We did get confirmation that Cargill is injured but the severity wasn’t known internally past those involved in creative were told it will be a minimum of three months out, maybe longer, which is why they released the story of such severe injuries,” Meltzer wrote.
Following the storyline injury, WWE announced that Cargill had suffered a series of severe injuries, including deep lumbar paraspinal muscle contusions, a bruised kidney, a sprained MCL in her right knee, a tibial plateau bone bruise, and facial lacerations. While these specifics are part of the narrative, they align with the expectation that Cargill will need substantial time off to recover.
Cargill’s injury has prompted WWE to adjust its plans for the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series. Her replacement for the match is expected to be announced soon.
This setback comes as a significant blow, as Cargill has been positioned as one of WWE’s rising stars since joining the company earlier this year. Fans and analysts alike are hopeful for her speedy recovery, as her potential in WWE continues to garner excitement.
