Former NFL Player Trill Williams Signs with WWE – Former Miami Dolphins cornerback Trill Williams has officially signed with WWE, according to Bobby Shouse of The Dive Bar podcast.
Williams made his first on-screen appearance during the November 12th episode of NXT, seen in the background of a segment involving Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Dion Lennox. This subtle introduction marks the beginning of Williams’ transition from professional football to the world of sports entertainment.
Williams entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent from Syracuse University, where he primarily played safety. Initially signed by the New Orleans Saints in 2021, he was subsequently claimed by the Miami Dolphins after being waived. His promising career with the Dolphins was halted in August 2022 due to an ACL injury, and after a lengthy recovery, he was waived by the team in August 2023.
Now, Williams is poised to bring his athletic skills and physical presence to WWE. His journey adds another name to the list of former NFL players who have ventured into wrestling, following in the footsteps of stars like Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin.
