AEW Set to Debut New In-Arena Presentation Style in 2025 – All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is set to implement advanced technology in its production setup starting in 2025, marking a shift toward IP-based solutions. According to Mark J. Burns of SVG, the promotion will begin using Live Media Group’s IP-based mobile facilities, including a North American production truck equipped with an EVS MediaInfra Strata router.
AEW Executive Vice President and Head of Global Production, Mike Mansury, elaborated on the shift, emphasizing the company’s goal to remain at the forefront of technological trends. “The idea was getting more IP-based with everything that we are doing,” Mansury explained. “How can we get AEW to be more towards the cutting edge? That’s always the challenge with our line of work. We’re not quite sport; we’re not quite entertainment. We’re a lovely hybrid. How do we take our form of content and intertwine technology into it that leaves us at the cutting edge and allows us to be trendsetters as opposed to followers?”
Mansury highlighted a new approach AEW plans to bring to its in-arena experience, which will see a more sports-focused presentation. This format will provide in-arena entertainment during breaks when in-ring or taped content isn’t active for the television broadcast. The intent is to create a distinction between the live event experience and the televised show, enhancing the event atmosphere for attendees.
In addition to these technological upgrades, AEW will expand its production infrastructure with a fleet of 16 production trucks featuring A and B units. This investment in equipment and resources underscores AEW’s commitment to improving its production quality, catering both to live audiences and viewers at home.
