AEW’s RJ City Calls The Undertaker a Weird Man – During a recent interview on Francine’s Eyes Up Here podcast, AEW broadcaster RJ City shared some critical thoughts on WWE legend The Undertaker, whom he described as “a weird man.” City compared The Undertaker’s long-standing dedication to his character with AEW’s Toni Storm, stating that her commitment is similar but without what he views as the negative aspects of The Undertaker’s current persona.
RJ City commented, “I haven’t seen anyone so wrapped up in a whole thing that is unique to themselves (like Toni Storm) since, I don’t know, The Undertaker? And she’s not doing half-ass horrible podcast now. She’s not wearing weird problematic shirts and being like, ‘wrestling is not telling stories.’ Thanks, Mark. I really appreciate it.”
He went on to criticize The Undertaker’s podcast, calling it odd and taking a jab at the way The Undertaker reflects on his past, saying, “His show is weird. The guy is weird. He’s a weird man. ‘Back in my day it was a lot better.’ I’m sorry, were you always dead? Did you start off dead? Would you like to explain that?”
Despite the harsh words, RJ City concluded by admitting that when he worked with WWE, his goal was to reach The Undertaker’s level, showing a mix of critique and admiration.
