AEW Reportedly Puts Together Creative Plans for Daniel Garcia

AEW Reportedly Puts Together Creative Plans for Daniel Garcia – Daniel Garcia is currently attracting significant attention from both AEW and WWE, as his contract approaches its expiration. AEW is eager to retain Garcia, while WWE is reportedly interested in bringing the rising star into their ranks.

Garcia had been off television for a time but made a notable return during AEW’s All In London 2024 event, interfering in MJF’s International Title match against Will Ospreay, which led to MJF’s loss. Following this, Garcia had a brief confrontation with MJF at All Out, initially putting him over before attacking him.

With his contract set to expire in October 2024, Garcia has yet to finalize a new deal. Dave Meltzer previously reported that Garcia’s absence from AEW programming is due to his unsigned status, and that AEW’s confidence in re-signing him has waned compared to earlier expectations.

However, Ibou from WrestlePurists has provided a more optimistic update, stating that AEW remains confident Garcia will ultimately re-sign. The company has also reportedly prepared creative plans for his return, should he choose to stay with AEW.
