WWE Changes Approach to Handling Backstage Promos

WWE Changes Approach to Handling Backstage Promos – Under Triple H’s creative leadership in WWE, there have been countless changes compared to how things were done under Vince McMahon. Fans have seen Triple H’s vision for the company play out over the last two years. Production and the in-ring product have changed in many ways.

PWInsider reports, “There was a change backstage this week at Raw as writers for the promo segments were internally listed on run-sheets for the show.” This was traditionally not how it was done.

Alexandra Williams, a longtime Senior Writer for the company, was listed for the Punk promo. For Jey Uso’s promo, he had Brian Parise, a longtime member of the creative team. Finally, the promo done by Sami Zayn had Christian Scovell, a writer and producer who has been with WWE for five years, listed.
