After making a return in early 2023 to feud with Damage CTRL, she initially aligned with Lita and Becky Lynch before turning heel, attacking Lynch, and partnering with Zoey Stark. This led to her final match in this run, where she put over Lynch in a steel cage match at WWE Payback 2023.
Over the summer, Stratus hosted the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, and shared a backstage segment with NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. During the post-event press conference, Stratton expressed her readiness to face the WWE Hall of Famer, sparking buzz about a potential matchup.
While speaking at Comic-Con Northern Ireland 2024, Stratus was asked about a future opponent, and she playfully hinted at the possibility of facing Stratton. “Becky Lynch? Oh wait, we did that already. From the current roster? What time is it? Is it Tiffy Time? She’s a bit arrogant, and I think it’d be interesting to show her what it’s all about from someone from back in the day. Maybe Tiffany Stratton,” Stratus said, keeping the door open for a future encounter.
If Stratus feels there’s more she could accomplish in the ring, the highly anticipated showdown with Stratton may become a reality.
