The replacement for the empty spot in one of tonight’s WWE Intercontinental Championship Contender Tournament matches has been revealed.
With Bronson Reed pulled from tonight’s WWE Raw due to testing positive for COVID-19, it has been reported by Fightful Select that Braun Strowman is listed internally as the replacement for Reed. Strowman will now face Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus in one of two triple-threat matches, with the winners advancing to a four-way bout on next week’s Raw to determine the number one contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
This development follows the storyline from last week’s Raw, where Reed took out Strowman with a viral Tsunami on a car spot.
