Powerhouse Hobbs Back on the Road with AEW – Powerhouse Hobbs, who has been absent from AEW for several months, may soon be on the verge of a return. Hobbs, who signed with AEW in 2020 after losing his debut match to Orange Cassidy on an episode of AEW Dark, quickly gained momentum when he joined Team Taz, aligning with Ricky Starks and Brian Cage.
A former TNT Champion, Hobbs last appeared in February on an episode of AEW Dynamite, where he worked alongside IWGP World Champion Jon Moxley. Unfortunately, Hobbs suffered a legitimate knee injury during that time, which required surgery in April. The injury sidelined him for an extended period, and he has missed significant in-ring action.
However, there have been encouraging signs regarding Hobbs’ recovery. Recently, he was spotted backstage at AEW Dynamite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, catching up with friends and colleagues. His presence at the event sparked optimism about his eventual return to the ring.
According to Fightful Select, Hobbs was also backstage during AEW All Out weekend and is now back on the road with AEW. While an official date for his return hasn’t been confirmed, these appearances suggest that Hobbs is nearing a comeback, much to the anticipation of AEW fans.
