On social media, Adam Pearce was asked if he would ever face Nick Aldis.
Pearce replied that he believes there are two groups of fans who would love to see that match, naming the WWE fans and NWA fans. He said he would never angle for a match, but if you’re asking him to be honest, would he ever come back? “The short answer is…” and then the video ends.
Aldis did have a reply to Pearce’s “answer.”
“After much deliberation I have decided to respond to this post by my Raw counterpart.
We both enjoyed a decorated tenure in our careers before WWE; there is no doubt you & I respect the legacy and tradition of our industry. So you’re asking if I would step in the ring with you?…
