Dijak Vs Timothy Thatcher Set for MLW Fightland 2024 – Former WWE star Donovan Dijak is set to make his MLW in-ring debut at Fightland 2024, where he will face off against Timothy Thatcher. The event is scheduled to take place at Center Stage in Atlanta on Saturday, September 14, and will be streamed live for free on MLW’s YouTube channel.
As Summer of the Beasts, Dijak made a dramatic entrance into MLW last week by interrupting a scramble match featuring Jimmy Lloyd, LSG, Little Guido, and Nolo Kitano. After dispatching all the competitors, Dijak delivered a promo declaring his intention to become the next MLW World Heavyweight Champion, currently held by Satoshi Kojima. Dijak also named other prominent names such as Thatcher, Matt Riddle, and Minoru Suzuki as part of his ambitious plans.
The 37-year-old Dijak became a free agent in June after WWE chose not to renew his contract. On June 27, he announced that although he had attempted to negotiate with WWE, the company never extended a new offer and informed him at the last minute that his contract would not be renewed.
In MLW, Dijak will be managed by Mister Saint Laurent, adding another layer to his new chapter in wrestling.
