Asuka Signs New Long Term Contract With WWE

Asuka Signs New Long Term Contract With WWE – According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Asuka has signed a new long-term contract with WWE. Although the specific terms of the deal have not been disclosed, the new agreement ensures her continued presence with the company for the foreseeable future.

In May, Asuka shared on her YouTube channel that she had been dealing with knee issues and would be seeking treatment after WWE’s European tour. By June, she revealed that she had undergone successful knee surgery, which was completed in 90 minutes. Asuka was discharged the following day, and doctors indicated that the surgery had gone well.

Asuka’s last in-ring appearance was at WWE Backlash, where she teamed up with Kairi Sane against Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. The match ended with Cargill and Belair winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

She was initially announced for the Queen of the Ring tournament but was replaced by Dakota Kai due to her injury. The timeline for Asuka’s return to action remains unclear, but her new contract indicates WWE’s confidence in her future contributions to the company.
