AJ Styles and Kamille Join Charity Softball Game – AJ Styles is currently enjoying his time off as he awaits the call to return to WWE television.
Styles has been absent from WWE TV since June, after putting over Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at the Clash at the Castle event. Since then, he’s kept busy, participating in a pro wrestling NOAH event and joining WWE’s tour of Japan in July, followed by shows on their European tour in August.
In early August, reports suggested Styles was originally set to appear on an episode of SmackDown, but plans changed. Instead, WWE is now aiming to bring him back ahead of the highly anticipated WWE Bash in Berlin.
According to the latest reports, Styles is healthy and ready to go, but WWE has yet to utilize him on TV. As of now, there’s no clear timetable for his return.
In the meantime, Styles recently participated in a charity softball tournament alongside AEW’s Kamille, who is the bodyguard of AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné.
