9/19 TNA iMPACT Results – Here are the full results from TNA iMPACT on September 19:

Alisha Edwards & Masha Slamovich Segment

  • Alisha Edwards opened the show, visibly frustrated and upset, stating that she’s no longer a TNA Tag Team Champion and placing the blame squarely on Masha Slamovich. She took digs at Masha, claiming that if it weren’t for her, she would still be champion. Alisha tried to humiliate Masha further, sarcastically suggesting Masha didn’t understand English. However, Masha retorted in Russian, delivering a chilling response and making it clear she understood every word Alisha had ever said.
  • Just as the tension built, Tasha Steelz blindsided Masha, attacking her from behind. Masha fought back, pulling Steelz by the hair, but Alisha used her trusty kendo stick, “Kendra,” to strike Masha down.
  • The commotion prompted Jordynne Grace to come out to a huge pop. Grace blocked a kendo stick shot from Steelz using her championship belt. The confrontation looked like it would explode into chaos until The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) rushed to the ring to surround Grace. But before anything could happen, the Hardys’ music hit, and the System quickly bailed. Santino Marella then made his way to the stage and booked a huge 6-person tag team match for later in the night.

Backstage: Josh Alexander & Eric Young

  • Josh Alexander was seen backstage when Eric Young approached him. Young offered some veteran advice, reminding Josh of the importance of leadership and respect. He noted that there are younger talents watching Josh’s every move and encouraged him to take his role as a leader in TNA more seriously. It felt like a passing of the torch moment as Young, a respected veteran, placed faith in Alexander’s potential as a locker-room leader.

Jordynne Grace & Masha Slamovich Backstage

  • Backstage, Jordynne Grace confronted Masha, expressing her desire for Masha to accept one of her open challenges. Grace revealed that she had been issuing these challenges specifically to get Masha’s attention. However, Masha responded nonchalantly, saying she had “other things to do” at the moment. This teased a future showdown between the two.

Masha Slamovich’s Interaction with the Hardys

  • Later in the show, Masha visited the Hardys’ locker room, showing them a picture of herself as a young fan posing with Matt Hardy from years ago. Masha, emotional, told the Hardys that she never imagined she would one day get to team with them. Matt Hardy, touched by the sentiment, responded warmly, calling it the “beauty of pro wrestling.” This sweet moment set the stage for their later tag match.

AJ Francis & KC Navarro vs. Sinner & Saint

  • KC Navarro and AJ Francis displayed their impressive chemistry as a tag team. KC chopped Icarus down before hitting a double stomp for a near fall. When AJ was tagged in, he dominated, tossing his partner KC into Icarus, but the agile Sinner flipped KC out of the ring and caught AJ with a slick DDT. The high-flying action continued as Travis Williams tagged in and hit a missile dropkick, followed by a suicide dive to the outside.
  • Despite Sinner & Saint’s flashy moves, AJ and KC regained control. AJ launched Icarus into Williams, setting them up for their finisher, the Down Payment, followed by a splash from KC, to secure the victory.
  • Winners: AJ Francis & KC Navarro

Santana Promo

  • Santana was shown holding a barbed wire bat in a dark backstage area, giving a grim promo about his upcoming match. He recalled his comfort in the world of violence and promised to baptize his opponent JD in blood. His intensity and promise of a brutal fight further fueled the anticipation for their Texas Death Match later in the night.

Matt Cardona vs. Rhino

  • The match between Matt Cardona and Rhino quickly descended into chaos. Rhino, ever the powerhouse, suplexed Cardona onto the steel ramp, setting a punishing tone. Cardona fought back with a missile dropkick, gaining control momentarily, but Rhino’s raw strength shifted the momentum in his favor.
  • At one point, Rhino pulled out a steel chair, setting up for a big spot. However, Cardona used the chair first, smacking Rhino and causing the referee to disqualify him.
  • After the match, the lights went out, and when they came back on, PCO emerged. He chokeslammed Cardona and set up for a PCOSault. Though Cardona managed to avoid the first one, PCO followed him to the outside, hitting a PCOSault onto a chair and unleashing hammer fists in a post-match beatdown.
  • Winner via DQ: Rhino

Spitfire vs. Kendal Grey & Carlee Bright (TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship)

  • Spitfire successfully defended their TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships in a thrilling match. Kendal Grey and Carlee Bright, the challengers, put up a fight, with Grey hitting an impressive headscissors and Bright following with double knees and a moonsault off the second rope.
  • Despite the offense from the challengers, Spitfire’s teamwork proved too much. Jody tagged in, hit a moonsault, and they followed up with the Pressure Drop to secure the win and retain their titles.
  • Winners and STILL TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions: Spitfire

JDC vs. Santana (Texas Death Match)

  • Santana and JD delivered a violent, chaotic Texas Death Match. Santana, wielding his barbed wire bat, tore into JD early, but JD showed his resilience, powerbombing Santana onto steel chairs and delivering a tornado DDT off the stairs.
  • The brutality escalated as both men traded devastating moves, with Santana diving from a ladder onto JD, crashing through a table for the decisive pinfall.
  • As Santana celebrated, Moose ambushed him, viciously attacking him with a steel chair, leaving Santana lying in the ring to end the segment.
  • Winner: Mike Santana

Joe Hendry Promo & Kazarian Confrontation

  • Joe Hendry came out to a massive reaction from the crowd, who chanted, “We believe!” Hendry reflected on his recent success and his ambition to win the TNA World Championship. He acknowledged that many wrestlers backstage didn’t want to see him succeed, but he felt confident that the fans would continue to support him.
  • Kazarian interrupted, accusing Hendry of being a one-hit wonder and claiming the only reason Hendry won at Victory Road was due to an underhanded tactic. The two exchanged harsh words before TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth interrupted. Nemeth mocked Kazarian and declared that the only crown that mattered was the TNA World Championship, which Kazarian would never hold.
  • Santino Marella then announced that Hendry would face Kazarian next week, with the winner earning a shot at Nemeth at Bound For Glory.

The Hardys & Masha Slamovich vs. The System (Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards) & Tasha Steelz

  • In the main event, the Hardys and Masha Slamovich teamed up to take on The System and Tasha Steelz. The match began with Steelz and Slamovich trading blows, but it quickly escalated into chaos as all six competitors became involved. The Hardys helped Masha pull off some classic Hardy moves, including Poetry in Motion, drawing huge cheers from the crowd.
  • The System gained control briefly, working over Jeff Hardy while the crowd chanted, “You suck!” However, Jeff and Matt rallied, and the Hardys hit their signature moves, including a Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb, to secure the win after a fast-paced, action-packed encounter.
  • Winners: The Hardys & Masha Slamovich

The show ended with the Hardys and Masha celebrating their victory while Tom Hannifan promoted the start of the Road to Bound For Glory 2024 on next week’s iMPACT.
