In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Stratus teased the idea of a potential comeback, referencing her recent appearance at the Money in the Bank event in Toronto as a special guest. She expressed her passion for wrestling and her willingness to keep going as long as she can still perform at a high level. Stratus noted that if her return can engage fans and inspire a new generation, she would consider it.
“Cody isn’t the only one with an unfinished story,” Trish Stratus said. “I loved being back as a special guest in Toronto at Money in the Bank. And who knows, if I can still go, I’ll still keep going. I’ll never half-ass it. If fans are interested and it can influence another generation, then we’ll see.”
Stratus also touched on her relationship with Zoey Stark, who had turned on her following Stratus’ Steel Cage Match against Becky Lynch at WWE Payback. She highlighted her satisfaction with working with Stark and hinted that their story is far from over, suggesting potential future developments in their rivalry.
“When Zoey got introduced, I was very pleased with that,” Stratus said. “The chance to influence someone else’s career, it means a lot. She was great to work with and she loved to learn–and there is more to the story between me and Zoey Stark.”
While there is no confirmed date for Stratus’ return to WWE, her comments indicate that she is considering it, especially if there is fan interest and a meaningful storyline to pursue.
