New WWE RAW Commentary Team Revealed – WWE has revealed updates to its announce teams, set to take effect next month as SmackDown transitions from FOX to the USA Network. On the September 13 episode of SmackDown, Michael Cole and Corey Graves will be the official broadcast team, continuing their established partnership.
Corey Graves had been temporarily filling in for Pat McAfee, who is currently on hiatus, on SmackDown. Meanwhile, speculation surrounded the future of Joe Tessitore, who was recently announced as a new member of WWE’s commentary team. It has been reported that Tessitore will join SmackDown in January, at which point Cole will return to Raw in preparation for the start of WWE’s Netflix series. Pat McAfee is expected to rejoin Cole around this time as the college football season concludes.
Additionally, Wade Barrett, who has been teaming with Graves on SmackDown since February, will be joining Tessitore on Monday Night Raw. Despite his new WWE role, Tessitore will continue his duties at ESPN, where he covers college football and Top Rank boxing.
This reshuffle is part of WWE’s strategy to strengthen its broadcast teams across its major shows, ensuring that experienced commentators are in place as the company undergoes these network changes.
