Miro Back in the United States – According to PWInsider, AEW star Miro has returned to the United States after spending some time in Bulgaria. He was reportedly spotted in Los Angeles over the weekend. Miro had been dealing with shoulder and elbow injuries, which he addressed in an April interview, stating that he had taken care of the injuries in January and was focusing on his recovery and getting stronger. During the interview, he also praised AEW’s Tony Khan for his business acumen.
Despite being under contract with AEW since 2021 after a successful WWE career, Miro’s usage in the promotion has been inconsistent. This has led to criticism regarding AEW’s handling of his character, with many noting the start-and-stop nature of his pushes. In 2022, Miro only competed in four matches, and his appearances on television have been sporadic. He made a return in June 2023 but only wrestled seven matches that year, with his last match taking place at Worlds End in December, where he defeated Andrade to conclude their feud.
It was revealed in March that Miro and CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana in WWE, were getting a divorce after seven years of marriage. Their breakup occurred during the winter of 2023.
As of now, it’s unclear when Miro will return to AEW television or what the company has planned for him.
