Mickie James Teases WWE Comeback in a New Role – Mickie James, a six-time Women’s Champion and former WWE star, has recently hinted at a possible return to WWE in a new role. In an interview with Ring The Belle, James discussed the idea of rejoining WWE, specifically mentioning the possibility of working alongside her husband, Nick Aldis, who currently serves as the General Manager of SmackDown.
During the interview, James expressed her pride in Aldis and his performance as General Manager. She playfully suggested that she could return as his “assistant” on SmackDown, even jokingly referring to herself as the “Sexytary,” a mix of “sexy” and “secretary.” James also hinted at the potential to leverage this role for more influence, humorously adding that she could “take over the title” by scheduling it herself.
“[When is Mickie James coming in?] Oh, I don’t know. I’m so proud of him. He’s doing so great. [That would be cool (James returning)] It would be. I could be his assistant maybe. [Sexytary?] Sexytary, that’s my new name. [And then take over the title, obviously.] Yeah, cuz I’m the secretary, so I can just write it in, schedule it. There’s always an opportunity there.] Well, you never know. You never know. No, I’m so proud of him. He’s doing great. I think he’s killing it.”
Though Mickie James is currently involved with Ohio Valley Wrestling, her comments have sparked speculation among fans about a WWE comeback. While nothing is confirmed, her return in any capacity would likely be welcomed by WWE fans who remember her impactful contributions to the women’s division.
