Michael Cole and Corey Graves Named WWE SmackDown Commentary Team on USA – On the August 26th episode of WWE Raw, Corey Graves joined Michael Cole at the commentary table, filling in for Pat McAfee, who has announced he will be stepping away from WWE for a period to fulfill his commitments with ESPN College GameDay. During the broadcast, Cole also revealed that he and Graves will be the commentary team for SmackDown when the show transitions to the USA Network on September 13th.
In related changes, Joe Tessitore is scheduled to join the Raw commentary team starting on the September 2nd episode. This shift coincides with Cole’s move to SmackDown. Additionally, Pat McAfee is expected to return to WWE programming when Raw transitions to Netflix in January 2025.
