Jack Perry Retains, Sting Makes Surprise Appearance

Jack Perry Retains, Sting Makes Surprise Appearance – Sting made a dramatic return at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, delivering a memorable moment that had the crowd buzzing. During the event, Jack Perry successfully defended his TNT Championship against Sting’s former tag team partner, Darby Allin, in a brutal coffin match. After the match, Perry, alongside The Young Bucks, continued to assault Allin, escalating the attack by pouring gasoline on him with the apparent intent to set him on fire.

Just as things were about to take a dangerous turn, the lights in the stadium went out, and Sting’s iconic music blared through the speakers. The legendary wrestler emerged, armed with his signature baseball bat, and quickly made his presence felt. Sting struck the EVPs (Executive Vice Presidents) with his bat and even no-sold a chair shot from Jack Perry, showing that he still had plenty of fight left in him. He then delivered Scorpion Death Drops to both Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, effectively ending the segment and saving Allin from further harm.

This appearance marked Sting’s first on AEW programming since his retirement match, where he teamed up with Darby Allin against The Young Bucks at Revolution in February. The return was particularly surprising given that Sting had hinted at watching the event from a distance. When AEW announced that All In would be held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, Sting, who resides nearby, had taken to social media platform X to tease his involvement, writing, “Hmmm… just down the road. I’ll be watching from ‘somewhere.’”

Sting’s unexpected return not only thrilled fans but also reinforced his status as a pivotal figure in AEW, even in retirement. His intervention in the coffin match storyline added another layer of excitement and left the audience eager to see what’s next for the legend in the world of professional wrestling.
