Seth Rollins and CM Punk Face Off on WWE Raw: 'Actions Have Consequences'

Seth Rollins and CM Punk Face Off on WWE Raw: ‘Actions Have Consequences’ – CM Punk opened the July 8th episode of WWE Raw by reminding fans of his actions at WWE Money in the Bank. He addressed Drew McIntyre directly, reiterating his promise that McIntyre would never hold the title as long as Punk is around. Punk declared that he himself is the consequence of McIntyre’s actions and vowed to ensure McIntyre’s failure in attaining the title.

Punk then called on Adam Pearce (or Jack Tunney) to lift McIntyre’s suspension, expressing his desire to fight McIntyre regardless of the location. However, before he could continue, Seth Rollins interrupted him.

The confrontation between Seth Rollins and CM Punk was intense. Rollins was visibly unhappy with Punk’s interference in the World Heavyweight Title match at WWE Money in the Bank, where Punk’s actions not only cost McIntyre the title but also blocked Rollins from another shot at the title as long as Damian Priest is champion.

Punk offered an apology but noted he wasn’t too sorry since it was Rollins he had affected. He clarified that his real issue was with McIntyre, aiming to exact revenge for McIntyre stealing his “AJ & Larry” bracelet. Rollins retorted that Punk struggles with apologies because he never takes responsibility for his actions. He reminded Punk that the world does not revolve around him and warned that once Rollins is medically cleared, he would snap Punk’s arm and put him back on the shelf. Rollins concluded by throwing Punk’s words back at him, stating, “actions have consequences.”

The segment (which you can watch in the embedded video bleow) set the stage for an escalating feud between Punk and McIntyre, with Rollins also firmly in the mix, promising intense and high-stakes confrontations in the coming weeks.
