WWE Speed Semifinals Now Set – On the June 26 episode of WWE Speed, Nathan Frazer, one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, faced Akira Tozawa in the WWE Speed #1 Contender’s Tournament.
They went back and forth in a fast-paced match, and Frazer showcased his explosive quickness. Tozawa gained momentum with a dive to the outside early on, and he maintained the advantage. However, Frazer rallied with a flurry of offense. He ultimately scored the win with the Phoenix Splash.
With the victory, Frazer advanced to the semifinals. He will face Xavier Woods on the July 3 episode of WWE Speed. The winner of that match will earn a title shot and challenge Andrade for the WWE Speed Championship.
Woods previously defeated Dijak to advance to the semifinals.
