Toni Storm has issued a challenge for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm and Mariah May appeared in a video message at the STARDOM show on June 2.
Storm seemingly challenged Mina Shirakawa to face her at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, as she said that she opened the Forbidden Door for Shirakawa, and she wanted her, Storm noted that any friend of May’s was a friend of hers, but she wanted to see what kind of woman Shirakawa was.
Shirakawa subsequently accepted the challenge.
Shirakawa has made multiple appearances on AEW/ROH programming in recent months, and she has formed an alliance with May. She is one-third of the reigning Artist of STARDOM Champions, and she has held the Goddesses of STARDOM Championship with May. Shirakawa has also held the Future of STARDOM and Wonder of STARDOM Titles.
