Shayna Baszler on Her Loss to Lola Vice at NXT Battleground – Shayna Baszler may have taken the L in the NXT Underground match against Lola Vice at WWE NXT Battleground, but she still wants everybody to know that there’s nobody in the game that can have that style of fight as she can.
Shayna Baszler took Lola Vice to her absolute limit but in the end, it was Lola who earned the victory in NXT Underground, defeating the former NXT Women’s Champion by way of referee stoppage and fulfilling her promise to dance after earning the victory over the “Queen of Spades.”
In a post-match interview, Shayna Baszler said that she takes issue with the referee stoppage but knows that in her heart no matter what the record book shows, she is the best in that style of fighting.
“The thing about an NXT Underground Match is that win or lose, there’s no one else in the world that can do that type of match like me. It might not have turned out in my favor tonight and I might have an issue with the stoppage, but I’m proud of the work I put on and I hope people know there is no one that can do that like me”
