Dax Harwood Sidelined with Back Injury – In a new video shared on social media, Dax Harwood announced that he is being taken off the road due to a back injury.
Harwood explained that he injured his lower back during a ladder match against The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) at AEW Dynasty. He revealed that he suffered a hematoma on his lower back during the match and attempted to push through the pain. However, the injury worsened after his subsequent match on AEW Collision, where he and Cash Wheeler faced the Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta).
Harwood described the pain as excruciating over the past few months but admitted he had been concealing it to avoid FTR being taken off the road. After undergoing an X-ray and discussing his condition with the AEW medical team, he was immediately removed from active competition to prevent further damage that could potentially lead to retirement.
Dax said he hopes to come back better than ever. He apologized to the fans, Tony Khan, and the AEW medical team.
The timeline for Dax Harwood’s return to the ring remains uncertain.
