Adam Copeland Posts Injury Update Photo – At AEW Double or Nothing, Adam Copeland successfully defended the TNT Championship by defeating Malakai Black in a brutal Barbed Wire Steel Cage match. However, during the match, Copeland sustained a fractured tibia and later underwent successful surgery.

In a recent Instagram post, Copeland provided an update on his condition. He shared a picture of his foot and leg, noting that the splint had been removed. He mentioned having five more screws and another plate inserted, humorously adding that he was becoming “Robocop.”

“The splint is off! More scars! 5 more screws and another plate. I’m becoming Robocop.”

Copeland recently said that he knew that his leg would not be ready for weight-bearing for eight to ten weeks. He also stated, once he started walking again, he would have a better gauge as to whether the recovery would take six or eight months.

Due to Copeland’s injury, AEW vacated the TNT Championship. A new champion will be crowned at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30.
