Hayes clinched victory over Baron Corbin in their first-round clash, surprising Corbin with a small package for the win.
Tama emerged victorious against Angelo Dawkins, who substituted for the injured Bobby Lashley, in their first-round bout. With Montez Ford sidelined outside the ring by Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa, Tama capitalized with a jumping flatliner on Dawkins to secure the win.
In the main event of SmackDown, Orton punched his ticket to the quarterfinals by defeating AJ Styles with his trademark RKO maneuver.
The first-round match between Santos Escobar and LA Knight is scheduled to take place at a live event over the weekend.
Looking ahead, Orton is set to face Hayes in the quarterfinals, while Tama awaits the winner of the match between Santos Escobar and LA Knight.
The finals of the King of the Ring tournament are scheduled to take place at WWE King and Queen of the Ring on May 25th.
