Drew McIntyre Talks Re-Signing with WWE – Amidst widespread speculation about his WWE future, Drew McIntyre has put the rumors to rest by signing a lucrative new contract with WWE, ensuring his presence within the company for the next three years.
Throughout negotiations, there was a prevailing belief that McIntyre would ultimately reach a deal with WWE, given his exceptional performance and character development, particularly as a heel. Despite ongoing talks, McIntyre’s commitment to WWE was solidified, coinciding with his continued prominence on television. However, he has been sidelined from house shows following WrestleMania due to a hyperextended elbow sustained during his match at the event.
In a recent interview with The Daily Mail, McIntyre shed light on his decision to remain with WWE, indicating a sense of loyalty and dedication to the promotion amidst his ongoing success and career trajectory.
“Being happy, at this point of my life and career all that matters is I’m happy and I can get time with my family that I’ve not had for 20 years. When it comes to creative, I can only control the controllable. As we’ve seen, almost for the past couple of years, there’s been a lot more leeway given to talent, a lot more collaboration. It’s been awesome, as you can see across the board. A lot of people breaking out and an opportunity for myself to show what I can truly do.”
