Kevin Patrick Out as Lead Announcer on WWE SmackDown – Both Wrestling Observer and PWInsider have confirmed that Kevin Patrick has departed from his role as the lead announcer on WWE SmackDown. As of now, no replacement has been announced.
Kevin Patrick initially took on the role of lead announcer on WWE Raw in October 2022. However, in August 2023, a show swap occurred, with Patrick and Corey Graves moving to WWE SmackDown, while Michael Cole and Wade Barrett took over on Raw. Cole had been handling commentary duties for both shows until earlier this month.
Kevin Patrick joined WWE in March 2021, serving in various capacities, including hosting Raw Talk. Additionally, he co-hosted the After The Bell podcast with Corey Graves, which concluded at the end of 2023.
Another change was then made earlier this month with Cole departing the SmackDown team and only calling Raw.
