Bully Ray Highlights New WWE Approach – Bully Ray recently shared some insightful thoughts on WWE’s current landscape during his appearance on Busted Open Radio. He highlighted a significant shift in the structure of the talent roster, noting a substantial evolution reminiscent of the Attitude Era.
According to Bully Ray, WWE has successfully established multiple tiers within its talent pool, a departure from previous times when there might have been a stark contrast between a few main event stars and a noticeable drop-off in talent elsewhere.
He specifically pointed out the presence of top-tier main eventers like Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Seth Rollins, alongside co-main eventers, attractions, and impressive tag teams. This diversified structure, in Bully Ray’s view, contributes to a more balanced card and a more evenly distributed talent hierarchy.
His perspective suggests that WWE’s current roster composition represents a departure from earlier eras, signifying a more comprehensive and balanced lineup, potentially enriching the overall quality of their shows.
“The WWE is doing now what they haven’t done in a long, long time and I’m going to venture to say as far back as the Attitude Era,” Ray said. “They finally have multiple tiers to their talent. For the longest time, it was your couple of main eventers and then the drop off was significant.”
“Now, we have main eventers, co-main eventers,” Ray explained. “We have attractions. We have great tags. The roster is very balanced and the card is very balanced, which they haven’t had in a long time.”
