Hart’s remarkable track record in 2023 speaks volumes, boasting an impressive 14 victories out of 15 matches in AEW. Her only prior loss came against Statlander in a previous TBS title bout, adding further significance to her triumph.
This victory marks the end of Statlander’s illustrious 174-day reign as TBS Champion, which included an impressive tally of 14 successful title defenses. Hart’s achievement propels her into an exclusive league, becoming only the third-ever TBS Champion since the title’s inception in January 2022, alongside Statlander and Jade Cargill.
Notably, Hart’s win wasn’t the only title change of the night at Full Gear, as Toni Storm earlier defeated Hikaru Shida to secure the AEW Women’s World Championship. This accomplishment cements Storm and Shida as the only three-time Women’s World Champions in AEW’s history, further highlighting the historic significance of the event.
