10/13 WWE SmackDown Results – We are live from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as John Cena makes his way to the ring to start the show.

John welcomes Tulsa, and everyone else to the season premiere of Smackdown. Before John can say anything else, he is interrupted by Roman Reigns’ music and the presence of Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa.

John stands across the ring from Roman, Paul, and Solo. Paul stares into Roman’s eyes and then hands Roman the mic when Roman puts his hand out. Roman calls Cena ‘John Boy’ and ‘Hollywood’.  He tells Cena if he is going to open his show, he needs to do it the right way.    Roman tells Tulsa to acknowledge him.

Roman tells the crowd they are chanting for a coward.  The man only showed up because Roman took his leave.  Then he had the audacity to have people call him the greatest of all time.   Roman wants to be honest with John.  You already know who the G.O.A.T. is and it is Roman Reigns.  Roman says they have ran into this before and they have handled it before so they are going to handle it again.  Roman tells John to leave or they will make him leave.

John says there is a lot of energy with the anticipation of what is going to happen.  You can never tell what is going to happen on Smackdown.  John Cena and Roman Reigns in the same ring.  You never know what is next.  John says he is to throw a curveball.  He is not here to challenge Roman, but to acknowledge him.  For 1,138 days you have held that championship.  That is the greatest accomplishment of all time.  Cena says he is not here to challenge Roman tonight because he hasn’t earned it.  John says he knows someone who has…

LA Knight makes his way to the ring.

Cena hands the mic to Knight and says it is his time.  Cena backs up into the corner and Solo moves towards Cena.

Knight wants to talk to ya. Knight asks Roman if he is pissing his pants yet.  You are the head of the table?  You are the tribal chief?  You are the defending champion?  Knight says Roman is a man standing in his way.  Knight apologizes for being rude and he introduces himself to Roman because while Roman has been sitting on the couch for the last month and a half, things have changed.  He tells the crowd to tell Roman whose game it is.

Roman says they are proud of him.  They gave them a few months and they say your name now.  Over 1100 days as a champ and I have done more than you have ever done in the business.  Who are you to think that you belong in his ring?

Knight says talking like that is a way to be talked about in the past tense.  Knight says he is the fastest rising star in Smackdown history…

Jimmy Uso with a super kick to Knight but Knight sends Jimmy to the floor. Knight has some words for Roman and Solo. Paul tells Roman to leave the ring and Solo eventually leaves too.

Roman tells Solo to handle him. Solo gets back on the apron and Knight is ready for him.  Solo tells Knight is the two of them tonight. Knight says for those who don’t speak moron, Solo made a challenge for tonight.  He says he will mop up the ring with Solo.

We go to commercial.

Kit Wilson and Elton Prince vs. Butch and Ridge Holland

We are back and we have a voice over talking about the horrible injury that Elton Prince suffered against Ridge Holland.  He has made a miraculous recovery because he is Elton Strong. Elton emerges from the wheelchair and YES BOY, things are right in the world.

Butch and Elton start things off and Butch with a wrist lock and he stomps on the elbow.  Ridge tags in and Kit makes the tag.  Ridge with a back elbow.  Kit lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex.  Ridge with a clothesline to the back and a forearm across the chest.  Butch tags in and connects with a knee.  Butch kicks Elton off the apron and Butch follows with a German suplex to Kit.  Butch sends Kit to the floor and he hits a pescado.  Elton gets on the apron and Ridge with forearms while Butch connects with forearms to Kit on the announce table.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kit punches Butch.  Butch with chops and Elton tags in and he connects with a forearm while Kit holds Butch.  Elton with punches.  Elton kicks Butch in the head followed by a European uppercut and kicks.  Butch goes to the apron and Elton mocks Butch with forearms to the chest but Butch stops Elton and pulls at the fingers.  Elton keeps Butch from getting to his corner and Kit with a running uppercut into the corner.  Elton runs into a boot.  Elton and Kit show how strong Elton’s shoulder is but Ridge tags in.  Ridge with clotheslines to Elton and Kit.  Ridge with a gut buster on the shoulder followed by a power slam of Elton onto Kit.  Ridge runs into a boot in the corner.  Elton goes to the turnbuckles but Ridge stops Elton and presses Elton and hits a power slam for a near fall when Kit breaks it up.

Butch with a running knee to Kit and Butch goes for a power bomb on the apron but Kit counters with a back drop.  Ridge knocks Kit off the apron and Ridge hits a suplex but Elton appears to have injured his knee.  The referee holds Ridge back.  Elton gets back to his feet but the referee stops him.  Kit kicks Ridge and Elton with a rollup for the three count.

Winners:  Elton Prince and Kit Wilson

After the match, Kit rolls Elton around the stage area in the wheelchair.

– We take a look back at the LWO versus Street Business match from Fastlane.

Backstage:

Kayla is with Carlito in the back. She asks Carlito about his return.  Carlito says there is only one word to describe his return… cool.

Bobby Lashley shows up and he says that Carlito’s return was masterful and amazing.  The last time he saw him, Carlito was being beaten up on Smackdown.  Bobby welcomes Carlito to his show. Carlito says his first match back on Smackdown should be against Bobby Lashley. Bobby says he is not dressed to wrestle.  

Montez and Angelo attack Carlito with a chair and before Bobby can do anything, Adam Pearce and officials come out to stop them.

We go to commercial.

Backstage:

We shoot backstage upon returning from the break and we see Adam Pearce and the medics checking on Carlito following the attack by Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits. The LWO are also standing over there friend checking on Carlito. Damage CTRL comes in and start making demands and barking orders about their business, saying it’s more important than what’s going on with Carlito and the LWO. Zelina Vega takes this personal and she and Bayley end up yelling back-and-forth. Pearce ends up kicking them all out of the area and telling them to go to the ring if they want to fight.

Backstage:

We shoot backstage and we see Roman Reigns sitting and talking with Jimmy Uso in The Bloodline locker room. Reigns asks Jimmy about his recent actions and says he’s acting like the quarterback of The Bloodline. He asks if he was running things, what he’d do. Jimmy says he’d get Jey Uso. Reigns doesn’t like what Jey has been doing, pointing to him running around with Cody Rhodes as a slap in the face. Jimmy says he doesn’t want to slap Reigns in the face. Reigns tells Jimmy he calls the shots. He asks Jimmy if they’re good. Jimmy says they are. They pound fists to end the segment.

Back to commercial.

Bayley vs. Zelina Vega

Bayley wants a test of strength but Zelina with a forearm.  Vega with a wist lock and kicks to the arm.  Bayley blocks a kick and Bayley goes for a slam but Vega sends Bayley into the corner.  Bayley blocks an arm drag and Zelina with a springboard wheelbarrow into an arm drag.  Vega with forearms and a head scissors but Bayley with a clothesline.  Bayley with an elbow drop for a near fall.  Bayley goes for a belly-to-belly suplex but Vega escapes and kicks Bayley.  Zelina drop kicks Bayley into the ropes and hits a 619.  Vega kicks Bayley and goes to the turnbuckles for Meteora for a near fall.  Vega signals for Code Red but Iyo gets on the apron.  Vega kicks Iyo off the apron.  Bayley with a knee to Vega followed by Rose Plant for the three count.

Winner:  Bayley

After the match, Iyo and Bayley attack Vega.  Charlotte Flair makes her way carefully to the ring in her heels while The Bayley Bunch head out of the ring.

– The commentators hype Paul “Triple H” Levesque making a rare appearance — next. On that note, we head to another commercial break.

In the Arena:

We are back and Triple H makes his way to the ring, where Adam Pearce is already standing in the corner.

Hunter says there is a big part of him that misses the chants for him.  He says it is electric in the building.  He doesn’t know if it is the time of year, but they came off a successful Fastlane and they are on the way to Crown Jewel and Survivor Series.  He says it all starts right here tonight on the season premiere of Smackdown.  He says he wanted to call attention to one of the unsung heroes of WWE.  He is in the ring with him now and he doesn’t know why he is in the ring right now.  He had a great career as an in ring performer, but over the last three years, Adam Pearce, as a WWE official has done an incredible job doing a thankless job.  He managed the superstars of Raw and Smackdown and has overseen both shows.  Hunter thanks him for the job he has done.

Hunter says no one person should do that job alone.  Hunter says Adam will no longer be alone and as of this moment, Adam is getting a promotion.  Adam Pearce is now tthe General Manager of Raw.  That leads Hunter to the announcement of the General Manager of Smackdown.

Dominik Mysterio interrupts and he asks Hunter if he is serious.  Fastlane was not a success.  THE Judgment Day got screwed out of their tag titles.  

Hunter says he can’t hear Dom and he asks the people to keep it down.

Dom says Jey and Cody are defending their titles tonight when THE Judgment Day have a title match.  How can you let him do this?

Hunter says he thought they were pumping in the noise but he didn’t realize how loud it is.  Hunter says he is a lip reader and he says that Dom said there is injustice so Jey and Cody shouldn’t be defending the titles tonight.  Hunter says that Dom is yelling at the wrong people.  Adam is the Raw General Manager.  Hunter says Dom needs to talk to the Smackdown General Manager, Nick Aldis.

Nick enters the ring and shakes Hunter’s hand.

Nick thanks WWE for the chance of a lifetime to be in charge of the number one brand in sports entertainment.  He says he is looking forward to some competition between brands.  Nick tells Dom he is a big fan . . . of Dom’s dad.  Nick says about a month ago, Cody engineered a deal to bring Jey to Raw so a superstar needs to come to Smackdown.  Nick introduces the newest member of the Smackdown roster.

Dom says nobody cares.  Dom says Cody and Jey are the problem and he has to deal with him.  He does not care who Smackdown’s newest superstar is.  He says he will smack this person.

Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring. Kevin looks at everyone in the ring and then he kicks Dom and gives him a stunner because Dom is not wearing a suit. Nick and Kevin shake hands. Everyone else shakes hands in the ring.

Backstage:

We see Roman in the suite and he is not happy.  Roman realizes that Kevin Owens is on his show.  Now you have Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso on his show.  JImmy Uso is on his couch.  He wants to know what are they doing.  Roman says he called the play and he wants to know why Jimmy is drinking his water on his couch.  Roman tells Jimmy to run the play and Jimmy leaves with Solo.

We go to commercial.

– We are back with a look at Dragon Lee.  He says he wants to show the world that he is special.

Backstage:

Chelsea and Piper are with Nick and they want to know what is he going to do about the curse of the tag titles?  Chelsea suggests new title belts. Nick says he has a meeting with Charlotte Flair and Chelsea and Piper leave.

Nick says he saw the match at Fastlane and if the referee was not distracted, she would be the champion.  Next week, Charlotte will face Iyo for the Women’s Championship.

Charlotte turns around and is face to face with Jade Cargill. Hunter wants to introduce Jade to Charlotte but Charlotte says she knows Jade.  Jade says it is her pleasure and Charlotte walks away.

We go to commercial.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso defend against Austin Theory & Grayson Waller

Cody and Waller start things off.  Cody with a kick and drop down uppercut.  Cody with a knee to the midsection.  Cody with a wrist lock and Waller with a kick and he tags in Theory.  Theory poses and Cody with a take down and he goes for a figure four leg lock but Theory escapes.  Waller tags in and Cody with a wrist lock and he tags in Jey.  Cody with an Irish whip and Jey with a kick in the corner.  Waller with a kick and head butt, but Samoans head beats Australian head and Waller goes to the floor.  Theory tags in and hits a back breaker.  Jey with punches to Theory but Theory sends Jey to the apron.  Theory is knocked off the apron but Waller sends Jey into the ring post.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Theory with a reverse chin lock on Jey.  Jey with punches  and Theory sends Jey to the mat by the hair.  Austin kicks Jey in the corner and chokes him.  Waller kicks Jey in the head and then Theory joins in.  Waller tags in and Jey punches his way out of the corner.  Theory with a knee and back breaker followed by a springboard elbow drop from Waller for a near fall.  Waller has some words for Cody before returning to Jey.  Jey has a kick blocked but he hits a dragon whip.  Theory and Cody tag in and Cody with a clothesline and back elbow.  Cody with a running forearm and then he floats over and hits a power slam.  Cody with Beautiful Disaster and then he sends Waller over the top rope.  Waller goes for a slingshot rolling cutter but Cody hits Beautiful Disaster.  Theory with a fisherman’s neck breaker for a near fall.  

Jey with a super kick to knock Waller off the apron and then he hits Theory with a super kick.  Cody and Jey hit the CodyCutter1D combination.  Jey with a suicide dive to Waller and then Cody with CrossRhodes for the three count.

Winners:  Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso

As Cody and Jey head to the back, they are interrupted by Roman’s music and Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa come out. They stand face to face with Jey and Cody. Roman and Paul make their way out and Roman gets face to face with Cody. Nick Aldis comes out and tells them not tonigh.

We go to commercial.

– We are back and next week, Charlotte Flair faces Iyo Sky for the Women’s Title and Santos Escobar faces Montez Ford.

Solo Sikoa vs. LA Knight

They lock up and Solo backs Knight into the corner and Knight with punches.  Solo send Knight into the corner and Knight blocks a punch and connects with punches.  Solo with a back elbow.  Knight lands on his feet on a suplex and hits a neck breaker.  Solo with a clothesline when Knight goes for a cross body.  Solo goes for a slam but Knight gets to his feet.  Knight cannot get Solo up for a slam and Solo with a chop and Irish whip.  Solo runs into a boot and Knight with a drop kick to the knees and head.  Knight clotheslines Solo over the top rope to the floor and hits a drop kick through the ropes.  Knight sends Solo into the ringside barrier and then back into the ring.  Knight tries to suplex Solo to the floor but Solo blocks it and he punches Knight.  Solo sends Knight into the ring post.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Solo with a nerve hold on Knight.  Knight gets to his feet and he punches Solo but when he tries to slam Solo, he collapses under Solo’s weight and Solo gets a near fall.  Solo with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall.  Solo with a running hip into the corner.  Solo punches Knight in the corner and follows with head butts.  Solo returns to the nerve hold.  Knight with punches to Solo but Solo with a punch and Irish whip.  Knight with a back elbow and he goes to the turnbuckles for a bulldog and he gets a near fall.  Solo with a Samoan drop for a near fall.  Knight goes for a sunset flip but Solo does not go over.  Solo misses a seated splash when Knight moves.  Solo misses a splash into the corner when Knight moves.  Solo misses another splash and hits the ring post.  Solo and Knight exchange punches but Knight gets the advantage.

Knight with punches but Solo stays on his feet.  Knight with a flying clothesline and a DDT.  Knight with kicks and a running knee in the corner.  Solo gets Knight up on his shoulders but Knight escapes and hits a power slam.  Knight with the YEAHple’s elbow and then he sets for BFT but Solo escapes.  Both men with clotheslines and both men go down.  

Jimmy Uso comes out for a running hip but John Cena stops Jimmy and hits an Attitude Adjustment on Jimmy.  Solo with a Samoan Spike on Cena. Knight with BFT to a distracted Solo for the three count.

Winner:  LA Knight

Knight celebrates and comes off the turnbuckles into a spear from Roman Reigns as we go to credits.
