Lexis King (Brian Pillman Jr.) Debut Set for NXT Halloween Havoc – Lexis King, formerly known as Brian Pillman Jr., is set to embark on his journey in WWE NXT, with his debut scheduled for NXT Halloween Havoc 2023.
In a vignette on the October 17 episode of WWE NXT, Lexis King shared a personal reflection. He mentioned that WWE Legends used to tell him stories about his father, “Flyin'” Brian Pillman, but at the age of four, when he lost his father, he had no idea what love meant. King expressed his desire to debut at NXT Halloween Havoc, marking the start of his journey to make the name Lexis King more significant than Brian Pillman.
The choice of Halloween Havoc holds particular significance in Brian Pillman Sr.’s wrestling career. The first Halloween Havoc in 1989 featured Pillman challenging Lex Luger for the United States Championship. Additionally, in 1995, Pillman officially formed The Horsemen, along with Ric Flair and Arn Anderson, at Halloween Havoc.
The current lineup for NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 – Night 1 includes a title match for the NXT Women’s Championship, Lexis King’s debut, a tag team championship bout, and a performance by New Year’s Day, hosted by Shotzi.
