QT Marshall Addresses Contract Situation with AEW

QT Marshall Addresses Contract Situation with AEW – QT Marshall has indeed solidified his continued association with All Elite Wrestling by engaging in contract extension discussions with the company. These discussions have successfully led to an agreement that allows Marshall to extend his contract, enabling him to maintain his prominent role behind the scenes as one of the Vice Presidents of AEW, while simultaneously continuing as an active in-ring talent. The new contract is reportedly set to cover the duration of 2023.

Marshall confirmed this contract extension while speaking with Jofo in the Ring, affirming that he has always been employed by AEW and holds the position of Vice President within the organization. He emphasized that his role as an active talent is a secondary responsibility. Although he mentioned the contract running “till the end of the year,” it’s worth noting that contract details in professional wrestling can sometimes be subject to change or evolve over time.

In addition to his work with AEW, Marshall expressed his intention to continue wrestling for AAA and to participate in as many independent wrestling shows as possible, highlighting his commitment to being an active contributor to the wrestling community.

“Yeah, so I will say this, I’ve always worked for AEW, I’m one of the Vice Presidents. That is a job that I have. The talent is just a second thing that I have as well, right? I’m lucky, I have two jobs. Like Brandon Cutler, two contracts, you know? So, yes, we’ve made another agreement and we’ll see what happens. I think ‘till the end of the year. I don’t know. The dirt sheets know more than me. I don’t know how, but yes, yes, I’m there. I won’t be going anywhere else except AAA and as many independent shows as I possibly can because I’m trying to break Orange Cassidy’s defense record. I think he did 32 in a year or and I’m trying to hit 33 before I lose this title. So, I think I’m at four so, I have a long way to go. But, I’ll wrestle anyone, any time, any place, anywhere except Jacq Rougeau.”
