First WWE HQ Departures Revealed – As noted, significant layoffs have begun at WWE headquarters as part of WWE’s transition into the newly formed TKO Group Holdings. Here are the departures reported by PWInsider so far:
- Jamie Horowitz, who served as the Executive Vice President of Development and Digital. Horowitz joined WWE in June 2021, coming from DAZN, where he held the position of Executive Vice President of Global Content.
- Amanda Bloom, who held the role of WWE’s Director of Enterprise Master Data & Governance. Bloom’s departure is considered significant, as she had been with WWE for seven years and played a crucial role behind the scenes in the company’s Technology Department, particularly in managing Metadata and optimizing its use. She also designed the foundational content data model for navigation and discovery on the WWE Network.
- Catherine Newman, WWE’s former Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing, has also left the company. In her role, Newman oversaw various departments, including Marketing, Brand, Community Relations, Entertainment Relations, Creative Services, and Photography. She had joined WWE in June 2022 after serving as the Chief Marketing Officer of Manchester United Media.
These departures mark the beginning of what is expected to be a series of changes and layoffs as WWE undergoes its transition within the TKO Group Holdings.
