Lynch took to social media to share the news, expressing her regret to the fans in Hyderabad, India, who were looking forward to her performance.
Lynch explained that a “tiny tear” in her passport prevented her from boarding the flight to India. She apologized to her Indian fans and mentioned her disappointment in not being able to fulfill her commitment.
“I’m sorry to all the fans in Hyderabad, India,” Lynch wrote. “I was so excited to perform for you – but as there was a tiny tear in my passport l have not been allowed to board my flight. @qatarairways”
WWE Superstar Spectacle is a significant event for the Indian WWE audience, being the first WWE event in the country since 2017. While Lynch won’t be able to participate, the show still boasts an exciting lineup, including John Cena and Seth Rollins teaming up against Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, as well as a Women’s World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Natalya.
