New Matches Set for 8/28 WWE RAW – Two matchups have been confirmed for the upcoming WWE RAW episode leading into Payback.
The New Day is set to take on The Viking Raiders in what promises to be an intense clash on Monday’s RAW. The rivalry between the two teams ignited when Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods made their return, accepting an open challenge from Erik and Ivar on the August 7 RAW. Although The Vikings were unsuccessful in their previous encounter, they are determined to even the score this time around.
Additionally, Bronson Reed and Tommaso Ciampa are scheduled to face off on the same RAW episode. This matchup was solidified after Reed issued a challenge to Ciampa during this week’s RAW Talk show. The feud between Reed and Ciampa has been building since early July, originating from Reed’s involvement in The Miz’s victory over Ciampa on the July 10 RAW. Their history culminated in a match on July 24, where Reed secured a win over Ciampa with assistance from Shinsuke Nakamura’s interference.
