The September 1 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown is shaping up with fresh segments added to the lineup.
In addition to the previously announced return of John Cena, WWE has unveiled two engaging segments for the upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The LWO duo of Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar will grace the ring in a tag team encounter against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. Notably, this match sets the stage for the forthcoming WWE Payback event, where Rey Mysterio will be defending his WWE United States Championship against Austin Theory.
Furthermore, the episode will feature the much-anticipated return of Jimmy Uso, which was scrapped from tonight’s episode. Having been absent since his brother Jey Uso’s departure from WWE, fans are eager to hear from Jimmy Uso and gain insights into the current dynamics of The Bloodline faction.
