Three New Matches Set For NXT Great American Bash
Thea Hail will get her rematch at NXT Great American Bash.
On tonight’s NXT, Hail challenged NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton for the gold. During the match, Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey argued with Duke Hudson, and the distraction cost Hail the win. However, Chase U’s star pupil remained focus on her quest for the gold.
Hail scored a dominant win over Elektra Lopez by making her tap out to the Kimura on the July 18 episode of WWE NXT. After the match, Hail challenged Stratton to a rematch. The champion came to the ring and accepted the challenge, though she also took the opportunity to say she was superior to Hail.
Before Stratton could leave, Hail said she wanted their bout to be a submission match. Stratton initially turned her down, but Hail attacked the champion and trapped her in a Kimura until she agreed to the stipulation.
Roxanne Perez is seeing red heading into her match with Blair Davenport at NXT Great American Bash.
Davenport recently returned to NXT after being revealed as the mystery woman that was attacking several members of the NXT Women’s roster. Davenport took extra concern in setting her sights on former NXT Women’s Champion, Roxanne Perez.
After several violent attacks by both competitors, it was agreed that they would face off one more time at the WWE NXT Great American Bash event on July 30 in Roxanne’s home state of Texas.
In a vignette with one another, Davenport promised to send Perez home after beating her one more time. However, Perez promises to unleash her inner rage.
During Tony’s homecoming on July 18, the match was agreed upon for the upcoming NXT Great American Bash event.
Gallus attempted to attack the family, but because Tony had a few extra relatives in the ring, the amount of crowbars pointing at Wolfgang, Joe, and Mark Coffey allowed the crew to lay out the current tag team champions and pose with the championship belt that they may win on July 30.
NXT The Great American Bash take place on Sunday, July 30, from the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, TX. Here is the updated card:
