7/4 NXT Results – The entrance of Blair Davenport opens the show, and she is ambushed by Roxanne Perez. Their match is kicking off the show, and the fight starts before the bell.
Blair Davenport defeated Roxanne Perez
Davenport pinned Perez to win the show opener. The match goes through a commercial break.
Perez was holding her own until she is sent crashing into the ring steps. Davenport followed that with a running knee strike that sandwiched Perez into the steps. She barely broke the ten count.
Davenport executes a Falcon Arrow, but Perez somehow kicks out. Davenport then gives Perez two consecutive knee strikes, and Davenport covered her for a pinfall.
Ivy Nile says she is nervous for The Creed Brothers, but she is also confident in them. NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton interrupts and she banters with Nile.
A vignette shows Baron Corbin at his home. He was everything he wants except for a reputation. He wants to be feared and respected, and the vignette shows him burning the gear from his old gimmicks. No gimmicks needed for him. Looks like a reboot for Corbin.
Mustafa Ali defeated Tyler Bate
Ali pinned Bate after hitting a 450 splash. This was really good, and the they wrestled through a commercial break. This taped show seems very wrestling-heavy so far. Not a complaint.
The finish came after Bate went for his twisting senton, but no water in the pool. Ali flips to the top turnbuckle, and Bate springs up to join him. Bate looks about ready to fall off the top rope, but Ali seemingly saves him from falling off.
Like the Highlander, there can be only one. In this case, only one challenger or the North American title. Ali lets go of Bate and Bate crotches himself on the top rope. Bate falls into the ring in position for Ali to leap off the top with a 2 Cold Scorpio 450. Ali then scored a pinfall on Bate.
After the match, Ali breaks the fourth wall by looking into the camera. Ali formally challenges NXT North American Champion Wes Lee to a title match at The Great American Bash on July 30th.
In a backstage interview with McKenzie Mitchell, Joe Gacy and Ava comment on the loser leaves town match later on. Gacy cryptically says they will eliminate a problem from NXT.
Kelani Jordan (Dana Brooke) defeated Tatum Paxley
Jordan pinned Paxley in Jordan’s in-ring debut on NXT television. She got a full entrance accompanied by Brooke, while Paxley was introduced with no entrance and already in the ring. That did not bode well for Paxley by WWE logic.
For the finish, Jordan countered an attempted suplex into a stunner. Jordan then covered Paxley for a pinfall. Booker T and Vic Joseph sold the win for Jordan as an upset.
Jordan and Brooke were celebrating after the match when Cora Jade interrupted them. Jade cuts a promo on Jordan. Jade says a friend of Brooke is a enemy to Jade.
Heeling on the live studio audience, Jade starts cutting a promo on the fans when Jordan cuts her off. Jordan says she has another match left in her tonight, and she challenges Jade to settle it here and now. Jade says not to ever tell her what to do, and Jade leaves.
Andre Chase in a skit is back in the classroom at Chase U. Chase thanks and acknowledges Duke Hudson and Thea Hail. Chase begins to yell at a student for asking a stupid question. Hudson says he will handle it, and he yells at the student. This somehow builds to match with Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak.
Eddy Thorpe (with Gable Steveson) defeated Damon Kemp in an Underground match
Thorpe won via referee stoppage, after Thorpe caught Kemp in a triangle. Steveson was at ringside in Thorpe’ corner, and Steveson got into a post-match scuffle with several plants that attack him.
Unlike Raw Underground having its own separate set, NXT Underground takes place on the same soundstage in the PC as the NXT show itself. It basically looked like the Bloodsport shows promoted by GCW with better production value. Wrestlers in street clothes also surrounded the ring like lumberjacks.
There was some grappling and submission attempts mixed with wrestling spots outside of the ring. At one point, Steveson his comically holding his gold medal like Paul Bearer would do the urn for The Undertaker, willing him on to victory.
The fighting spilled onto the floor a few times. Kemp posted himself shoulder first, and Thorpe then targets the arm. Thorpe catches Kemp in a triangle. Kemp tries to power out, but Thorpe reapplies the triangle. The referee then jumps in to stop the match, awarding Thorpe the match.
Steveson was celebrating with Thorpe when one of the lumberjacks that surrounded the ring earlier suddenly jumps into the ring. The plant then starts fiddling with Steveson’s gold medal. This upsets Steveson. He takes off his medal, and he starts suplexing dudes like he was Taz in ’96.
Steveson gives he first dude a German suplex. Some other plant jumps in, and he gets dumped with a suplex. Another dude gets suplexed after trying to jump in. A fourth plant that towered over Steveson gets face to face with him. So Steveson suplexed him as well, after the guy pretty much jumped into Steveson’s arms. Thorpe puts the medal back around Steveson’s neck, and everybody lives happily ever after … except those dudes that got a suplex.
NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams have a message for Judgment Day. Hayes invites all of Judgment Day to come into NXT and follow through with a threat made by Rhea Ripley on the previous episode of NXT.

Back inside the soundstage, Von Wagner was pummeling Javier Bernal. Mr. Stone convinces Wagner to put Bernal into the ring. Wagner instead powerbombs Bernal on the announce desk. The booth crumples and Wagner is proud of himself. Mr. Stone not so much.

The Dyad (Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler with Joe Gacy and Ava) defeated The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed with Ivy Nile) in a losers leave town match
The Dyad won after outside interference by a masked assailant. The Creeds are in storyline done with NXT, as they must leave the brand according to the stips.
The Dyad jump The Creeds before the bell officially starts the match. The Creeds quickly make a comeback. Brutus does a wild plancha over the ropes into a cannonball. Julius does a shooting star press and goes for a cover. Gacy breaks up the count by pulling Reid out of the ring they are in the NWO. Thus, the referee ejects Gacy from ringside as the show cuts to a commercial break.
Gacy is gone after the show returns from the break, but The Dyad are in control as they work over Brutus. Hot tag to Julius and he looks to run wild. The Dyad try to cut him off, but Julius still runs wild. He skins the cat and does a dive to the outside.
Julius is cut off, leading to The Dyad getting some near falls on him. Julius fights back, only for Fowler to chop block Julius in the knee. By the way, Fowler’s head smacked the mat hard after he took a tandem move from The Creeds.
The match goes through another commercial break, with Julius in peril as The Dyad work over the injured knee. Eventually there is a hot tag, and Brutus is a house of fire. Brutus springboards off the top rope into a 450 splash for a near fall. Brutus then applied an ankle lock on Fowler. After escaping the hold, Fowler jumps off the middle rope to deliver a codebreaker.
At the urging of his brother, Brutus hulks up. He and Julius go to set up a Doomsday Device. However, Fowler trips up Brutus and puts Brutus into an electric chair. The Dyad then do their own Doomsday Device on the floor as Reid jumps through the ropes into a tope that knocks Brutus off Fowler’s shoulder. Brutus takes a bump on the floor, and the Creeds appear in peril.
Julius takes on the The Dyad by himself with Brutus selling like he is out cold. Julius fights off The Dyad, he suplexes both of them at the same time. Still selling his leg, Julius does a kip up and bounds to the top rope. Julius does a moonsault press on both of The Dyad. Julius is on a roll.
Ava jumps in to interfere, but Ivy Nile also jumps on. Nile waylays Ava, and they brawl. An unknown assailant wearing a red hoodie and a mask hops the barricade and attacks Julius. The unknown assailant headbutts Julius with the mask, presumably doing the loaded mask gimmick like he was The Assassin. The Dyad do a tandem codebreaker on Julius, and Reid covers Julius Creed for a pinfall. The Creeds must now leave NXT.
