2023 NXT The Great American Bash Results – Tonight’s NXT Great American Bash airs live tonight from the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Cedar Park, Texas.
Notes from the pre-show:
- McKenzie Mitchell is outside Dominik Mysterio’s locker room and Rhea Ripley comes out and says she can answer any questions. She asks how Dom is doing. Rhea says that Dom is calm and collected. A lot can happen in a triple threat match like an idiot pinning an idiot to have an idiot be champion. Rhea says she has to help Dom stretch and get ready for the match.
- McKenzie is with Baron Corbin and she asks why get in a fight with Gable Steveson. Corbin says Gable represents everything he is against. He comes in acting like he knows everything. He cannot take his accolades away but he can take away his will to succeed. Everything thinks Gable will get an easy win and move on to be the next Chosen One. Corbin says that is not going to happen. He is doing this for himself. All eyes will be on Gable at the start of the match, but at the end of the match, all eyes will be on him because he will have beaten his second gold medalist
- Nathan Frazer, Dragon Lee, Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon vs. Meta-Four (Noam Dar, Oro Mensah, Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson)
Dar and Frazer start things off and Dar with a wrist lock. Frazer with a reversal. Dar with a reversal and Frazer with another reversal. Dar with a waist lock and he tries to apply a triangle but Frazer gets a near fall. Frazer goes to the apron and slides under Dar. Frazer with a springboard flip and he lands on his feet. Dar backs off and he tags in Lash. Leon with a cross body for a near fall. Leon with a running knee and Feroz tags in and Leon with a springboard slam onto Lash for a near fall. Lash catches Feroz on a cross body but counters into a sunset flip attempt but Lash does not go over and she sends Feroz to the mat. Lash with a back handspring moonsault for a near fall.
Jackson tags in and she hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Feroz with a fireman’s carry and she sends Jackson into the turnbuckles. Leon tags in and Leon with a slingshot slam for a near fall. Jackson sends Leon into the turnbuckles and connects with punches. Leon with a chop and forearm. Leon with a chop and punches. Oro tags in and Lee pulls Leon away and he connects with forearms. Lee with a head scissors take down and a running boot into the corner and a slingshot boot to the chest. Lee gets a near fall. Lash distracts Lee but it does not work for Oro at first but the second shot connects. Oro with an Irish whip and splash into the corner.
Dar tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles and elbows Lee on the top of the head. Dar taunts Leon and Feroz and then we get quadruple teaming on Lee before Dar gets a near fall. Oro tags in and chops Lee followed by a kick and reverse chin lock. Lee with punches but Oro grabs the mask. Lee with forearms and Oro with forearms. Oro misses a flip kick and Lee with a super kick. Jackson pulls Oro to the corner for Dar to tag in. Frazer tags in and he connects with clotheslines and a flying thrust kick that sends Dar to the floor. Frazer is stopped by Lash when he tries for a dive to the floor. Feroz with a head scissors to Lash and then she sends Jackson to the floor. Feroz with a dive onto Jackson and Leon hits Dar. Lee with a head scissors take down to Oro off the apron to the floor. Lash with a kick to Frazer followed by clotheslines to Leon and Feroz.
Dar with a back elbow for a near fall. Dar goes for the Nova Roller but Frazer with a kick. Frazer with a springboard moonsault into a reverse DDT. Jackson plays human shield for Dar and Oro pulls Frazer to the floor. Lash tags in and Leon with a clothesline into the corner. Leon goes up top and hits a missile drop kick and Feroz tags in and hits a DDT for a near fall when Dar breaks up the cover. Feroz punches Dar and the air around Dar. Lash pulls Feroz off and Lee tags in. Feroz with a drop kick to Lash. Lee with a dragon screw to Dar in the ropes followed by a thrust kick. Dar with a kick to the knee and Lee with a kick. Dar with a punch and knees.
Oro with a springboard side kick and a flapjack for a near fall. Oro goes for a uranage but Lee escapes. Oro does a headstand on the turnbuckles and Lee with a thrust kick. Lee with a tornado DDT to Dar. Frazer tags in and he misses a springboard move. Oro with a rollup for a near fall. Frazer with a kick to Oro. Frazer with a springboard flipping side Russian leg sweep to Mensah. Lee with an Asai reverse DDT for the three count.

Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. Gallus (Wolfgang, Mark Coffey) (c)
Wolfgang runs Lorenzo into the corner and knocks Tony off the apron. Wolfgang with a biel and punches. Mark tags in and he hits a back elbow and he kicks Lorenzo and slaps him. Lorenzo with a back elbow and drop kick. Tony tags in and he punches Mark and follows with a short arm clothesline. Tony with a front face lock to Mark and he punches Wolfgang. Tony with a double leg take down and punches. Tony with a kick and Lorenzo tags in. Tony with punches and Tony hip tosses Lorenzo into the corner for a near fall. Joe distracts Lorenzo and it does not work. Wolfgang punches Tony when Tony goes after Joe. Lorenzo with a side head lock and Wolfgang tags in. Wolfgang with a hot shot.
Wolfgang kicks Lorenzo in the corner. Wolfgang with punches and Mark tags in. Mark with punches and a knee. Mark with a kick to the head and a slap. Lorenzo with punches and he sends Lorenzo into the bottom rope. Joe with a punch while the referee is distracted. Wolfgang gets a near fall and he punches Lorenzo. Mark tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles and hits a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Mark with a front face lock. Mark with a knee to stop Lorenzo’s momentum to the corner. Wolfgang tags in and he applies a cobra clutch. Mark tags in and Lorenzo with a punch and he avoids a shoulder. Lorenzo makes the tag and Tony with punches and clotheslines to both men. Tony clotheslines Wolfgang over the top rope and then he hits a few overhead belly-to-belly suplexes to Mark. Tony with a spinebuster for a near fall. Wolfgang tries to break up the cover but hits a senton on Mark.
Tony and Lorenzo with punches to Mark and Wolfgang. Mark is put on the turnbuckles and Lorenzo tags in. They set for a PowerPlex and hit it for a near fall. Tony and Wolfgang with a clothesline at the same time and everyone is down. Mark kicks Tony off the apron and Wolfgang makes the blind tag and hits a spear on Lorenzo. Wolfgang sends Mark onto Tony and Wolfgang hits a moonsault for a near fall. Mark calls for Joe and the bat and Joe gives it to Wolfgang but the referee takes it. Mark and Wolfgang hit the TKO and flying boot but Tony breaks up the cover.
Tony kicks Mark as Mark comes off the steps and Tony power bombs Mark into Wolfgang into the steps. Tony gets the crowbar and he hits Joe with it. Tony hip tosses Lorenzo onto Mark and Wolfgang on the floor. Tony tags in and they hit Bada Boom Bada Bing for the three count.

Weapons Wild Match
Blair Davenport vs. Roxanne Perez
Blair attacks Roxanne from the crowd while Roxanne was with her family in the crowd. Blair sends Perez into the apron but misses a knee against the ring steps. Perez with an uppercut and she sends Blair into the ringside barrier. Perez with a cross body and punches. Blair sends Roxanne into the ring. Blair gets a chair and Perez knocks Blair off the apron with a forearm and follows with a suicide dive. Perez clotheslines Blair over the top rope to the floor. Perez goes for a suicide dive but goes into a trash can. The trash can is sent into the ring and Blair hits Perez in the back with a chair. She gets another chair and hits Perez in the back with it. Blair send Perez’ face into the ring steps. Blair gets a branding iron and she hits Perez in the midsection with it. Blair sends weapons into the ring and then she hits Perez in the back with a chair right in front of Roxanne’s mother and sister.
Blair puts the trash can on top of Perez and she gets the branding iron and hits the trash can with it. Blair with more shots using the branding iron and it dents the trash can. Blair puts a chair in the turnbuckles. Blair hits Perez in the midsection with the edge of the chair. Blair dumps out the contents of a trash can and she throws the can into the ring. Blair sends Perez into the chair in the turnbuckles. Perez fights back and sends Blair into a chair in the corner. Blair hits Perez in the back with a studded belt. She chokes Perez in front of Roxanne’s family. Blair pulls Perez around the ring and sends her into the ringside barrier. Blair has some words for Roxanne’s family before returning to Perez.
Perez hits Blair with a bull rope and cowbell. Perez whips Blair with the belt. Perez sends Blair into the ringside barrier a few times. Perez gets a table from under the ring. She sets up the table outside the ring. Blair whips Perez but Perez backs Blair into the apron a few times. Perez goes up top and Blair trips Perez and she falls to the mat. Blair piles up chairs in the center of the ring. Blair sets for a German suplex onto the chairs but Perez escapes and Perez sends Blair into the chair in the corner. Blair blocks Pop Rox onto the chairs and Blair with an Alabama Slam. Blair with a Falcon Arrow onto a trash can for a near fall. Perez sends Blair into the ropes and Blair escapes Pop Rox and she sends Perez into the ropes. Blair with a double stomp to the back. Perez with a side Russian leg sweep and Blair rolls to the apron.
Blair and Perez go to the apron and Blair with elbows. Blair kicks Perez off the apron to the floor but Perez pulls Blair off the apron. Perez with a running knee to the head against the steps. Perez puts Blair on the table. Perez with a splash onto Blair on the table. Perez sends Blair back into the ring and Perez with a back heel kick and Pop Rox onto the chairs for the three count.
Winner: Roxanne Perez
– We see Thea Hail and Tiffany Stratton preparing for the Women’s Championship Match in their own unique ways.
Baron Corbin vs. Gable Steveson
Gable with a single leg pick. Gable with a waist lock and Corbin with an elbow. Gable with a forearm of his own. Corbin with a running forearm and punches in the corner. Corbin kicks Gable in the corner followed by an Irish whip but Gable floats over and punches Corbin. Corbin goes to the floor. Corbin misses a clothesline and Gable with an ankle pick and he applies an ankle lock but Corbin goes to the floor. Gable with a German suplex on the floor. Corbin sends Gable into the ring post. Corbin sends Gable shoulder first into the ring post. Corbin with punches and the referee warns Corbin.
Corbin sends Gable’s head into the ring post. Corbin with punches and he chokes Gable in the ropes. Gable with punches but Corbin with a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Corbin sends Gable into the ropes and follows with a clothesline. Corbin kicks Gable. Corbin pie faces Gable and Gable does not appreciate it. Gable with punches and overhead belly-to-belly suplexes. Gable clotheslines Corbin over the top rope to the floor. Gable sends Corbin into the ringside barrier. Gable sends Baron over the top rope to the floor. Corbin with a kick and he runs Gable into the apron. Corbin with punches. Gable sends Corbin over the announce table. Corbin with a double sledge off the announce table.
The referee gets to ten and calls for the bell while Baron and Gable fight over the announce table.
Double Count Out
After the match, Gable with a double leg take down and many referees and security get into the ring.
Gable fights them off and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex followed by a splash onto Corbin. They fight to the floor and Corbin sends Gable into the ring post. Corbin punches some of the security. Gable with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex into the ringside barrier and it collapses.
Backstage:
Lyra Valkyria is with McKenzie and she asks about the match on Tuesday. Lyra says the match lit a fire under her and she knows she can go toe to toe against the best.
Jacy Jayne attacks Lyra from behind while Lyra talks about her interest in the women’s title match. Rhea walks past with Dominik while Jacy and Lyra are being separated and she says that is what she was waiting for.
Triple Threat for the NXT North American Title
Mustafa Ali vs. Wes Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio (c)
Ali and Wes exchange some words and Dom watches. They turn to look at Dom and he goes to the floor. Rhea asks for the title belt and she is ready to leave with it. Ali tries to confront Dom but Rhea gets in the way. Wes comes up behind Dom and Dom goes into the ring and he almost gets to the other side but Wes and Ali stop Dom and they stomp mud holes into Dom. Ali iwth a punch and Wes wants to do it and he punches Dom. Ali pulls Wes away and punches Dom. Wes chops Dom and then Ali chops him. They both chop Dom. Wes with a head scissors to Ali but Ali flips over Wes. Ali with a rollup for a near fall. Wes with a sunset flip for a near fall. Wes misses a spinning heel kick and Ali with a chop. Wes chops Ali and follows with a forearm. Ali sends Wes into the turnbuckles.
Wes with an Irish whip and Ali sends Wes to the apron. Ali and Wes go to the turnbuckles and Dom knocks both of them off the turnbuckles to the floor. Dom sends Ali into the ring and Dom with a slingshot senton for a near fall. Dom with a suplex and he holds on and rolls through for a second one. He tries for the third amigo but Wes gets in the ring and he pushes Ali into Wes. Dom with two suplexes to Wes and then he goes for a double suplex to hit the Three Amigos but Wes and Ali block and hit a double suplex and then they roll through and complete the Three Amigos. Ali gets a near fall and then Wes gets a near fall. Wes with a thrust kick to Dom and then a bicycle kick. Wes sends Ali to Dom and then hits a super kick on Dom that sends Ali to the mat with a DDT.
Wes with punches and kicks to Dom followed by Meteora for a near fall but Ali breaks up the cover. Ali sends Dom over the top rope to the floor. Ali with a clothesline to Wes followed by a back elbow. Ali with chops. Ali knocks Dom off the apron and he hits a tornado DDT on Wes. Dom breaks up the cover but gives Wes an elbow drop when Ali moves. Dom with an Irish whip to Ali and Ali goes to the apron and kicks Dom. Ali with a slingshot rolling neck breaker to Dom. Ali with a double leg take down on Wes and he applies a Boston Crab to Wes while having Dom in a camel clutch at the same time. Dom with a drop kick to Ali and then he sends Wes into the ropes with a drop toe hold. Ali with a thrust kick to Dom and then to Wes to send thme hanging over the bottom rope. Ali goes to the turnbuckles but misses a 450 splash onto the apron when Dom and Wes move.
Dom with a rollup on Lee for a near fall. Lee sends Dom to the floor. Lee with a suicide dive to Dom. Wes avoids Rhea when Rhea charges at him. Rhea tells Wes not to do it and Rhea gets on the apron. Rhea bends over to check on Dom and Wes hits a flip dive onto Dom. Rhea goes after Wes but Wes gets away and sends Dom into the ring. Rhea pulls Wes off the apron and hits RipTide on Wes through the table. Rhea sends Dom into the ring and he gets a near fall. Rhea gives Dom the title belt but it goes through Dom’s legs like Bill Buckner. The referee slowly gives the belt back to someone and Dom hits Wes with Rhea’s belt but Wes kicks out.
Dom goes to the turnbuckles for a frog splash but Ali drop kicks Dom and Dom gets caught in the turnbuckles. Ali goes up top and hits a 450 splash but Rhea pulls Ali out of the ring. Dom goes up top and hits a frog splash for the three count.
Winner: Dominik Mysterio
Backstage:
McKenzie Mitchell asks Trick Williams about Ilja Dragunov. He says Dragunov might respect his friendship with Hayes but he will not understand it. They came to NXT to turn the program upside down. Tonight, Melo is going to show why he is HIM.
Submission Match for the NXT Women’s Title
Thea Hail vs. Tiffany Stratton (c)
They lock up and Thea goes for the arm but Tiffany escapes and she rolls up Thea but there are no counts. Tiffany goes for a single leg crab but Thea escapes. They lock up and Thea with a cravate and she rolls through. Tiffany with a snap mare. Tiffany with an ankle pick on a leap frog. Tiffany with a surfboard. Thea escapes and goes for an arm bar. Tiffany with a kick and snap mare. Tiffany misses a double stomp and Thea rolls through. Tiffany goes for a Boston Crab but Thea escapes. Thea with Japanese arm drags followed by a drop kick. Thea with a suicide dive but Tiffany was able to toss Thea to the mat. Tiffany runs Thea into the ring post.
Tiffany with a bow and arrow around the ring post. Tiffany with forearms and a suplex. Tiffany with a bow and arrow. Thea escapes and punches Tiffany. Tiffany with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and she puts Thea in the turnbuckles. Tiffany with a handspring back elbow into the corner. Tiffany with a back breaker over her shoulder. Thea gets to the ropes to flip out of the hold and gives Tiffany a back drop. Thea’s back gives out. Thea with an arm drag and flying forearms. Thea with an uppercut and an exploder. Thea with a somersault senton and she goes for a springboard back drop but Tiffany catches Thea and applies a body scissors. Thea gets to her feet but Tiffany with a forearm to the back. Thea with a bulldog and a kick that sends Tiffany to the floor.
Thea with a suicide dive. Thea with a flying double sledge but she misses a second one. Thea escapes Tiffany and sends Tiffany into the ring post. Thea goes up top and hits a cross body but Tiffany rolls through and when she picks up Tiffany, Thea goes for the kimura but Tiffany with a fallaway slam into the turnbuckles. Tiffany with a Finlay Slam but Thea stops the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Thea puts Tiffany on the turnbuckles and Thea with a superplex. Hail with the kimura and Tiffany gets to the ropes and Thea releases the hold.
Thea comes off the apron and Tiffany runs Thea into the ringside barrier. Tiffany sends Thea into the ring steps. Tiffany hits the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and Tiffany applies a Boston Crab. Thea reaches out to Duke and Andre tells her to keep fighting. Tiffany releases the hold for a moment. Tiffany reapplies the hold and Tiffany leans back.
Andre thinks about throwing in the towel and he does it.
Winner: Tiffany Stratton
Backstage:
We go to Nathan, Dragon, Yulisa, and Valentina in the back. Lee goes one way while the other three go the opposite way. Rhea says Lee looks like a wannabe Rey Mysterio. Lee says that Rey is a legend. He says he has his own story and you know who he is. Dom says he made the Mysterio name relevant. He says his father is a hypocrite. Dom and Rhea walk away.
– The next NXT Network special is No Mercy on September 30th.
– We go to footage of Schism arguing over the two men who attacked them. We see them argue about something. Ava says she will not let this break them up. There will be an interrogation. Ava says they will remove their masks and we will see who they are.

They lock up and Hayes with a wrist lock. Hayes with a take down. Hayes takes Ilja to the mat again. Ilja with a wrist lock and he works on the shoulder. Hayes with an arm bar. Ilja with a wrist lock. Hayes with a side head lock but Ilja with a lateral press into a reverse chin lock. Hayes with a reversal into a side head lock. Ilja with a kick but he misses a jumping kick. Hayes with an arm drag into an arm bar. Ilja tries to escape but Hayes holds on to the arm bar. Hayes runs his forearm across the bridge of the nose. Hayes with a shoulder tackle. Ilja with a waist lock and Hayes with an arm drag. Hayes with a back heel kick and chop.
Ilja runs Hayes into the turnbuckles and chops him a few times. Hayes with forearms. Hayes with a springboard clothesline and he kicks Ilja off the apron to the floor. Ilja gets back in the ring and Ilja with a kick to the midsection. Hayes with a clothesline but Ilja stays on his feet. Hayes sends Ilja to the mat but Ilja blocks a kick. Ilja goes to the apron and sets for a coast to coast but Hayes gets up and hits a Codebreaker. Hayes goes up top and Hayes goes for Nothing But Net but Ilja with a power bomb to counter. Ilja sets for the diving forearm and connects for a near fall.
Ilja sends Hayes into the corner and he puts Hayes on the turnbuckles. Ilja with a forearm and chops. Hayes with slaps. Ilja sets for a superplex and Hayes counters into a cutter. Hayes gets a near fall.
Trick gets the title belt and shows it to Hayes to motivate him.
Ilja with a chop and Hayes falls to the mat. Ilja with more chops and Hayes chops back. Ilja with a forearm and Hayes fires back. It is time for kicks. They go back to forearms. Both men go down and roll to the floor. Ilja takes out Trick with Torpedo Moscow when Hayes moves, hitting the belt with his head in the process. Back in the ring, Hayes goes up top for Nothing But Net and hits it for the three count.
