Top Matches Confirmed For AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door – AEW and NJPW will present the second installment of the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event on June 25. This co-promoted event was highly praised for the inaugural show last show that saw NJPW and AEW star mix it up.
The first two matches have been made official for the show, including Kenny Omega vs. Will Ospreay for the IWGP United States Championship and Kazuchika Okada vs. Bryan Danielson.
The two promotions confirmed the bouts on Tuesday when New Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference that you can watch below with comments from both Ospreay and Okada.
Ospreay looked back on his loss against Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January and stated he was embarrassed in the match by Omega, but vows to repay the favor by beating Omega as he seeks revenge.
Oskada stated that he looks forward to not only facing Danielson, but also beating him and ended the address by saying let the real best in the world come out victorious at Forbidden Door.
The show is close to selling out the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
