Booker T Shoots Hard On Ryback, Ryback Responds – Booker T recently gave his thoughts on Ryback being in the headlines for a few different reasons, including his claims that he has been shadow banned on social media for his negative comments about WWE, teasing about going to AEW, and expressing interest in wanting to wrestle Goldberg.
As seen below, the Hall of Famer noted on his podcast that Ryback has only bashed WWE since leaving the company several years ago and not advanced his wrestling career so Ryback should “just go home.” Booker stated that Ryback has seemingly blown up the bridge with WWE and perhaps he should just move on in life.
“I have been hearing a lot of news, like little chirps. I wouldn’t say news, just chirps about Ryback trying to throw his name out there. I saw he posted a photo, like a silhouette of him in the background with the AEW caption over it. You know, I mean, an All Elite caption over it, so it seemed like he’s trying to lobby to get back in this business. I don’t know of Ryback working any independent shows or anything like that. All I remember Ryback doing is WWE work, and for someone who only did WWE work, came up in that system, I swear this dude talks like he’s been in the business for 100 years and worked at every major level. I’m serious. I’m just saying. I don’t know how difficult he was in the ring or anything like that. I don’t know. I’ve heard guys say this and that about him. Me personally, I have no personal knowledge. But when Ryback left the company and went out on this world tour to bash everything about wrestling, even to the point where he said the titles aren’t real, now you want to try to get back in it. Guys like that man, just go home. You blew the bridge up. So it’s like, coming back to this business, it seems like you should be wanting to move on in life. I’m not saying that just because I’m in this business. I’m just saying that because, like I say, you got out of it and it seems like you just went on a world tour to mess up every bridge that you have built and every road that you had crossed, it’s like, just screwed it all up?”
Ryback took to Twitter to rip the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion in a tirade on Twitter:
“Hey @BookerT5x you are better than that, at least I thought you were. It’s beyond obvious where you get your paycheck and if you want to be an actual man then pick up your phone or talk publicly with me. Stop running your mouth on something you’re obviously clueless on. Don’t worry either, I’m not trying to shake your fucking hand. I’ve heard enough from you though and just STFU on something you’re not involved in.”
“And I’m going to add to this it sucks to have a guy I grew up really liking and enjoyed seeing be successful chime in on things he knows nothing about. I love pro wrestling and speak up for wrestlers. My issues with @wwe @VinceMcMahon are against THEM and not the wrestling industry. Those that know, know. The truth always wins and you’re going to regret getting involved. I’m getting cleared and I’m coming back. That’s none of YOUR fucking business. Keep collecting those WWE paychecks and we will see how it all ends.”
Booker T took to Twitter to note that he rescinded an invitation to Ryback, seemingly to appear on his radio show to talk about their differences:
“The invitation is rescinded for @Ryback. Making demands for you to come on my show says a whole lot. You don’t really want to have a conversation.”
